Annotate a web page

Load a web page (a book chapter, an article, a spec) or paste in your own text, highlight the exact passages you care about, and export your notes — each one tied to the precise span of text it refers to.

1. Paste a URL above and press Load — or use Paste to drop in text directly.
2. Select any text and tap Add note.
3. Press Export to copy or download your notes.

Your notes are kept in this browser's local storage — only on this device, with no account and nothing uploaded (except the page URL, which is fetched through this site's own proxy so it loads despite cross-origin restrictions). They survive reloads, but they aren't backed up or synced: clearing your browser data, private browsing, or switching browser or device will lose them, so export anything you want to keep.
